Relaxation Services

Similar to Swedish Massage but with a greater focus on providing relief to areas of the body experiencing excessive tension. The therapist will apply slow, intense pressure to rigid or tense body areas to further relax the external layer of musculature so that the deeper layers of tissue can be rejuvenated. Sessions are generally 30 to 60 minutes. Hot Stone, bamboo, & cupping treatments can be added to the service with select therapists.

Also commonly referred to as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Lymphatic massage aids the drainage of the lymphatic system by helping to remove blockages and increase the flow of waste material out of the lymph nodes. The therapist applies very soft, gentle hand techniques. Some find the lymphatic process to be so relaxing they fall asleep during the Massage. Sessions are generally 60 to 90 minutes. Hot Stone, bamboo, & cupping treatments can be added to the service with select therapists.

A massage technique designed to help alleviate the various tensions and discomforts experienced during pregnancy. The technique aids in: improving the regulation of hormones, reducing swollen joints, & relieving sciatic nerve pain. Both Swedish & Lymphatic Massage hand techniques are utilized during the process to aid in relaxation & detoxification.

Bamboo Massage is one of the most natural ways to release tension and restore a sense of balance and peace to your mind. The Therapist utilizes a set of Bamboo tools to complete the Massage, helping to increase blood circulation & overall relaxation. Bamboo Massage has been known to : release deep muscle tension, & help prevent headache, depression, & insomnia.

Cupping pulls blood to a specific region to stimulate healing. It is effective at stretching tight areas of muscle. Cupping helps the tissue develop new blood flow and allow the release of anti-inflammatory chemicals within the body. Cupping is generally painless and many say is more effective than massage alone for muscle pain & numbness.Versions of Cupping can be found in many cultures from Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, & Asia.
